Big Buck's continued his dominance in the staying hurdling division as the Paul Nicholls-trained phenomenon secured his fourth consecutive World Hurdle crown in what was another scintillating performance by the Ditcheat superstar.

Sent off a 5/6 favourite, Ruby Walsh was always travelling serenely and whilst some of his rivals were struggling to go the pace, he was cantering to the second last with Voler La Vedette looking his only potential danger as they came to the last flight of hurdles.

However, Andrew Lynch was unable to eke more momentum out of his mare and it was left for Walsh to kick the Stewart Family-owned legend clear after the last to win an unprecedented fourth crown and cement his place in racing history
